PSOAS AND THE FRENIC CENTER ARE INTIMALLY CONNECTED IN THE CHEST, THE AREA OF SIGHING, PANTING, IN-SPIRATION AND EX-SPIRATION, BY MORPHOLOGY AND ETYMOLOGY

HYPSOS is one of the terms that the Greeks used to indicate the relation body / organism. It is comparable to the modern concept of sublime from the Latin sub - sotto and limus - which rises obliquely, that reaches up to  the highest threshold. HYPSOS, moreover, is an aesthetic form of ancient times and taken up in romanticism, in which a speaker or actor culminates a quote or phrase in a pause that generates uncertainty, emotions or fears, terror or simply enchantment in the audience.

What do we find on top of the psoas?
The abdominal diaphragm with the phrenic center. The term 'PHREN' comes from the Greek and stands for soul ( Think to frenetic, frenzy) mind, thought. The ancient physiology placed the seat of instincts, affects, passions, in the region of the diaphragm.
